What can be put in our skip bins?

Keeping in line with Australian Health & Safety regulations, our mobile skip bins can take most general household rubbish, construction waste, and everyday clean-up waste. Certain materials cannot be collected due to safety restrictions, particularly anything hazardous or dangerous. ✅ Accepted Waste

Household Items

Suitable for general clean-outs such as old furniture, clothing, toys, appliances and everyday rubbish.

Garden Waste

Great for yard jobs: branches, leaves, clippings, hedge trimmings and other light green waste.

Renovation & Building Debris

We accept timber, plasterboard and other light construction materials, within a safe weight limit of up to 1,000kg.

Electronics & Small Appliances

Old TVs, computers, monitors, microwaves and small electronic items are allowed.

⛔ Prohibited Waste

Heavy Items

No heavy items such as soil, concrete and bricks.

Food or Liquids

No food waste or liquids of any kind (event waste from weddings, birthday parties and similar functions is allowed as the bin is lined with plastic).

Hazardous Substances

Items such as asbestos, chemicals, oils, paints and corrosive or toxic liquids are not permitted.

Flammable or Explosive Items

Gas bottles, car batteries, aerosol cans, fuels, solvents and anything that may ignite or explode cannot be collected.

Medical or Biological Waste

Sharps, bandages, clinical waste and any materials that pose an infection risk are not accepted.

Radioactive or Toxic Waste

Any material with radiation or high toxicity risk cannot be placed in our bins.

Note: Mattresses & tyres can be collected for an additional fee. Please keep them separate and do not load them into the trailer.
